History

History: A 7-year-old boy was referred with his parents to the pediatric dentist by a family dentist for evaluation due to bone loss and gingival retractions. His past medical history was remarkable for allergies and Down syndrome. The extraoral exam was within normal limits. The intraoral exam was within normal limits, except for gingival retractions and generalized mobility. Click images to enlarge them.
